Chickenpox Vaccination

Chickenpox Vaccination

The chickenpox vaccination is another one that your baby should have. While the injections may not totally prevent chickenpox, they will at least reduce the symptoms if your child ever gets them. Adults can develop shingles later in life as the varicella virus remains dormant in the central nervous system for the course of a lifetime. Vaccinated people would get fewer symptoms from the shingles as adults. Being vaccinated against the chickenpox is certainly a positive.
