MMR Vaccination

MMR Vaccination

Every baby should receive an MMR vaccination. They’ll be protected against cases of the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella viruses. Measles have been wiped out in the United States thanks to vaccinations, but people without the vaccine in their systems can still easily contract the virus. Over 500,000 cases of the Measles were reported every year until a vaccine was available. The Mumps can cause children to develop meningitis, swollen jaws, deafness, and even swelling of reproductive organs. Rubella, also known as German Measles, produces rashes, fevers, and swollen lymph nodes. Thanks to MMR vaccinations, all three of these viruses have been eliminated from the mainstream U.S. population.
