Product Information

Tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) is one of the major human pathogenic flaviviruses. It may cause serious diseases in humans where it may affect the central nervous system with clinical features such as meningitis and encephalitis of different severity.

No causal treatment against TBE is possible, but a very efficient, safe and well-tolerated TBE vaccine is available to ensure the necessary protection.

In more than 25 years of experience with the TBE vaccine by Baxter Vaccine AG, this vaccine has been shown to be safe and highly immunogenic in the prevention of this life-threatening disease.

For any further information about Baxter's TBE vaccine, please contact your physician.
